Playing with Debian Bookworm

I spent some time over the weekend playing with Debian Bookworm. It is shaping up to be an excellent release. That said, I found the default GNOME desktop and the overall experience somewhat lacking in comparison to Fedora 36. I guess there’s plenty of time for the Debian developers to apply some spit and polish.

Semantic Linkbacks

In an effort to be more IndieWeb, I’ve been looking at a couple of WordPress plugins. Webmentions and Semantic Linkbacks. Both plugins look good and should be simple to set-up. I’ve installed both but the Semantic Linkbacks includes its own Walker Comment class. This slightly complicates matters as my theme already uses its own comments class. I guess I’ll need to look at extending the plugin, or disabling it.
